I have been wanting to photograph the relationship between humans and horses for a while now - when David (friends with mutual friends of mine) phoned me to ask if I could photograph the mare Rei Rei together with her colt and filly as a present for their owners, I was super excited!

(I hope I have the “horse terms” right, Craig please correct me if I don’t!)
