Our friendship with Nerissa and Ravi is one of the many good things that came after living in Durban for three years, we have been back in Cape Town for almoust three years already!

Time for a trip down memory lane, Durban style…

By the way I also took the decision to go into photography after working as a photo journalist for Caxton Community Newspapers while staying in there (Amanzimtoti to be exact) – if you read this Jenny and Michelle don’t worry too much about the grammar and tenses. I am after all back in Cape Town and it has been a while since I had an editor check my mistakes hahaha! Miss you all at the SUN Newspaper!  

Back to my favourite Indian family… We initially planned a shoot on the beach with “perfect Durban winter weather” – not this time… It seems Cape Town traded places with Durban on that specific day and it rained the whole day!

What a bummer BUT this is where the FUN started…we got creative at their home moving furniture around to do a shoot inside… So happy with the results!!! They say it’s goodluck when it rains on your wedding day, I am sure it also counts for a pregnancy shoot!

Nerissa, You look amazing and we can’t wait to meet little Ella! I wonder what she will look like? So excited for you!

Ravi thank you for helping with the moving of the “photo corners”!!! Cauis you were super good and I know you will be the best big brother ever!

Thanks for the visit, your friendship, spoiling us (especially Ninari), the curry outings and tips on how to continue making curry in Cape Town like only you Durbanites can!
