– Hi, I’m Lindy.

Food, lifestyle, and portrait photographer and product developer, based out of the beautiful little town of Wellington, South Africa.

My photography work is shaped by natural light and clean, interesting angles.

I truly believe that every photograph should tell a story, whether it’s of food, people or a product.

I have previously worked in journalism, theatre design and stage costumes, photography, and now more and more into the world of fibre art. Each part of my creative journey influences the way I see and create today. I aim to bring quiet beauty and meaning to everything I make.

My creative journey began in art class at school, where I chose Fibre Art as a subject at the Jack Meyer Art School in Paarl, followed by a Drama degree in Theatre Arts and Technical Management, and later an Honours in Directing and Design at the University of Stellenbosch.

The wardrobe department was where I felt most at home. It was a quiet, thoughtful space filled with textiles and the slow craft of making.

Over time, my love for fibre art, design, and decor grew into a natural extension of my photography.

What began as a love for texture, fabric, and visual storytelling has grown into a distinctive brand rooted in craftsmanship and creative integrity. Each piece is designed with purpose, honouring the materials and the process behind them.

My appreciation for texture, fabric, and design has been with me since my earliest creative work. Kiekie Kuns brings all these elements together with photography.

Thank you for being a part of my story and the Kiekie Kuns journey. For photography enquiries, custom pieces, or product collaborations, please get in touch.
